DriveStream

Terms of Use

Last updated 24 August 2026

Drive first, app second. DriveStream is a convenience for people travelling together. It is not a navigation authority and not a safety system. Obey the road, the signs and the law. Do not operate the app while the vehicle is moving.

1. Agreement

By installing or using DriveStream you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use DriveStream through Apple's TestFlight, Apple's beta terms apply in addition to these.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the group features. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to hold a driving licence or be a passenger of someone who does, and at least 13 years old.

3. Acceptable use

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

4. Accuracy

Positions, ETAs, distances, routes and fuel estimates are approximations derived from your phone's sensors and third-party mapping data. They can be wrong, delayed or unavailable — GPS drifts, signal drops, and traffic data goes stale. The fuel gauge in particular is an estimate calculated from distance driven and is not a reading from your vehicle. Never rely on DriveStream to decide whether you can reach a fuel station. Use your vehicle's own instruments.

5. Availability

DriveStream is provided as-is and depends on services we do not control, including mobile networks, Apple, Google and other providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be withdrawn. The app is currently in active development and behaviour may change between releases.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on information the app displays. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

7. Your content

Trip names, car labels, drive records and similar content remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to store that content and show it to the members of your trip.

8. Ending it

You can stop using DriveStream at any time by deleting the app, and can have your account and data deleted as described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where they matter, flagged in the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your local law.
